As a caregiver, it's important to realize that you are never alone. According to a 2009 AARP study, more than 39.8 million people—17 percent of the U.S. population—provide care for a chronically ill, disabled or aged family member or friend during any given year.
House of Welcome Adult Day Services hosts a monthly Alzheimer's Family Support Group. Discussions include caregiving issues, education programs on dementia, working with your doctor, communication problems and more.
When: 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month
