Day Program Schedule

What is a day like in the life of a person with memory loss? For those who participate in the day program offered by House of Welcome Adult Day Services, it's an experience of care, warmth and stimulating activities in a comfortable, homelike environment. Our day program schedule resembles the following:

8:30 a.m.    Arrival, kitchen prep, enjoy coffee, converse with friends, and read the                            newspaper

10:15 a.m.  Go over the daily schedule and the plan for the day

10:45 a.m.  *Break out into small-group activities

11:30 a.m.   Beverage break 

11:45 a.m.   Strength training and exercise

12:30 p.m.   Lunch

1:30 p.m.     Music therapy/music activity

2:45 p.m.     Beverage break

3:00 p.m.     Movement and end-of-day activity

4:00 p.m.     Participants head home
