Mind Matters Schedule

What is a day like in the life of a person with early memory loss? For those who participate in the Mind Matters program, our schedule resembles the following:

10:00 a.m.  Arrival, enjoy coffee, word games

10:30 a.m.  Variety of activities related to the theme for the day, including cognitive                             exercises, creative arts therapies, discussion/reminiscence, and more

11:00 a.m.  Support group—discussion topic based on the theme for the day, including                      medical information, research and treatment, brain health, coping                                    strategies, changes in relationships, future planning, and more

12:00 p.m.  Lunch/walk 

1:00 p.m.    Additional activities related to the theme for the day

2:00 p.m.    Exercise, including dance movement therapy, tai chi, yoga

2:45 p.m.    End-of-day wrap-up/check-in

3:00 p.m.    Participants head home
